Advanced IT project management - An annual internship

The course aims to instill theoretical and practical knowledge about IT project management. Its objective is to provide a set of skills which is required in an ever-changing world and allow students to acquire professional experience. The course will elaborate on the five phases of project management: conception and initiation, planning, execution, performance/monitoring, and closure, while students will concurrently practice them during their internship. Theoretical and practical learning is at the base of the curriculum. The conceptual knowledge is mastered in class through lectures and briefs, whereas applied comprehension is achieved through implementation and internship. The varied learning experience will equip students with tools, knowledge, skills, and professional experience.
